Competitions:

We went to the World Championship on April 27th to April 30th in St. Louis, Missouri.

We went to the State Competition on April 8th and 9th at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI.

We went to the West Michigan District on March 18th and 19th and Niles District on March 25th and 26th.

The Game:

Design Team:

Our Design Team worked hard for two weeks to draw up a precise model of our robot using SolidWorks.

Electrical Team:

Our Electrical Team waited patiently for the Design and Mechanical teams to build the robot before they could wire it. But in the mean time they did programming and made an excellent autonomous mode.

Build Team:

Our Build Team moved quickly once they received in the SolidWorks design to manufacture a stunning a stunning bot, that is lightweight yet extremely sturdy.

The Robot:

Fast: two speed transmission, 22 feet per second

Powerful: 4 CIM motors

Sophisticated: line tracking, ultrasonic distance sensors, camera

Robust: welded frame, pneumatic arm, six wheel drive with grip tread

Scoring: offensive power rating #5 in world, scored 147 points at Michigan Championship

Autonomous: place tube on any peg

Mini-Bot: 1.8 seconds to the top

Mini-Bot Deployment: less than 0.5 seconds to deploy
